The Name I Love: Fashion

Hi, gals! Long time not seeing each other over here. I had too many things in mind I wanted to write but (honestly) zero motivation with being active in the comm or to create Gyary content anymore. It’s still like that though and that’s ok. I’ve noticed my mental health has improved considerably since I highly reduced my consumption of Gyaru content and I plan to keep it that way.

Howoever! That doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy the style. I’ve been pretty active dressing up and going out recently. Specially during my last holidays and that made me increible happy. I definitely prefer to live my Gyaru life in “the real life” rather than in Social Media and that’s an excersize I would recommend to you all.

So going on that path and after getting together with a photographer friend I adore super much, we had a super fun photoshoot 2000s inspired. I’ve been super inspired by the y2k Bratz looks and I’ve been thinking how I can incorporate that on my Gyaru looks, so that’s how we end up on this photoshoot.

So having that in mind I made a casual look with items I had on my closet lol. I don’t usually go that casual in Gyaru so it was a nice opportunity to create new codes!

First thing I chose was that cardigan that I got thinking of making a 2000s code but I had no idea how to style it. Lol. So since white and denim are always a good match, that’s how I went. + Plus leopard print is a win-win so here it is the code.



Fun thing about that day, it was cold as fuck.  We got together around midday I think, and even if it was still summer, since we were close to the beach, all the fog came to where we were and the whole district looked like winter. So we decided to go walking to the next one to escape from the fog. Thanks god we did that! The weather there was much better. Act natural, like nobody is looking at you.

Some weeks I was just feeling well, other I just forgot this existed. But here it is! The prompt for this week is:
The color I chose for this prompt was mauve, which surprisingly I have! I don’t like weating cold colors in general so I don’t have much clothes like that. Plus my wardrobe has a really specific color palette so after thinking for a while I remembered I have these pieces I don’t regularly wear and they’re both mauve!

Funny thing I got that skirt because I’m collecting the Cutie Cherry Pie print but that color was definitely not one of my favorites.  But I also have the black version in a skirt and JSK which I love! And now that I’ve notice this color is not that bad I think I’ll get the JSK in mauve as well because I found it casually not so long ago and it was pretty cheap. 


The shoes are from Princess Melody (I swear I thoguth they were from Ank Rouge as well!), but at this point, sometimes I just can’t tell which brand is each thing. I can tell by the print but more general items are really hard for me. 

And the fuwa fuwa sweater is from Ank Rouge. I got it last year and showed them on the haul I posted on my Youtube channel but it wasn’t until now I had the opportunity to wear it. I’m not a fan of the quality of that sweater to be honest.  Since it’s brand I expected more but it’s super synthetic so I have to be sure to wear it with a full cotton tee underneath. But well, it was extremely cheap so I can’t complain. 


And this was my makeup! Isn’t it cute?   I’ve actually updated a little bit my makeup again. YES. I’m wearing the third pair of lenses I got from AliExpress and I just noticed they’re really similar to the Candy Magic 1-day I got before and I’m so happy! Because I only have 1 pair left of those.   I’ve also changed my lower lashes and I toned down the shadows. I think these way my makeup looks more polished and that’s good.  I made this look with Yaya. We got together last weekend to dress up and share some drinks and it was so fun! 🍻 I just adore her. I recommend you to check her looks. She’s the best!  And that was it for today. Hope you liked the code and during this week I’ll be sharing the rest of the magazines I got. Going back to the Himekaji Weekly Coordinate Challenge, and taking a break from work because today I stayed working until 8 pm and I just tired af, I’m sharing with you my fouth Himekaji co*de that I had no idea how to put together so I did it the best I could.

So I don’t have a secret hobby. You can see on my Facebook profile my hobbies are: Eating, Napping, Blogging and Dancing. So first I thought about doing some kind of ballerina look, but I don’t have nothing like that. My second option was a strawberry dessert co*de because I like eating, but desserts are not my favorite things to eat. So at the end I just went with blogging and decide to blog about that.


Week three of the Himekaji Coordinate Challenge and this time the we had to do a co*de using a dark color palette so once I read that I was like: This is my moment! I don’t usually wear black for Himekaji but I LOVE black, it’s my favorite color and I have tones of black clothes I haven’t been wearing so this was the perfect opportunity.
  Hi, Gals! ♡ With our cute Himekaji community we’re doing a 7 weeks themed challenge for put together different Himekaji looks. So from now on I’ll be sharing lovely looks I’m super excited to do. So for this first week the theme is:   Ha pasado un buen tiempo desde la última vez que estuve por aquí escribiendo. La verdad, eso me tuvo bastante triste y cada día que pasaba se me iba aún más la motivación, sin embargo, hace poquito Lea publicó un reto para bloggear constantemente durante 10 semanas y supe que era el empuje que necesitaba. Así que me he sumado a esta dinámica, ya he ido viendo los temas de las próximas semanas y estoy pensando cómo voy a abordarlos y qué quiero compartir con ustedes. Así que con eso en mente, vamos con la semana uno.

Este último año he tenido muchos outfits, pero creo que mis dos favoritos son definitivamente la primera vez que pude armar coords completos Himekaji y Agejo. Son mis subestilos favoritos del Gyaru y me costó un buen tiempo armar looks de los que me sienta super orgullosa.

Himekaji look

Este fue el primer coord que armé una vez me pinté el cabello de rosa y me hizo muy feliz que sea uno Himekaji. Uno de los motivos por los cuales me cambié el cabello fue porque quería tener looks más sweet y quería enfocarme en el Himekaji como mi estilo principal y esta fue la primera vez que lo armé de pies a cabeza. Antes de eso ya había tenía un par de looks incompletos o con una onda Himekaji más tirando para Larme, pero lograr uno así, con todas las capas de prendas tal cual lo imaginaba, fue super especial.

Este es otro look que amo mucho porque este ha sido uno de mis dream dresses por mucho tiempo y llegar a tenerlo claramente fue un sueño hecho realidad. No soy la fan #1 del Agejo porque no todas las tendencias que ha tenido me fascinan, pero este tipo de vestidos y prints son de lejos lo que más amo del estilo. Además vivo por los vestidos con este corte de cintura alta y encontrarlo en MA*RS fue increíble.

Sinceramente el hacer un recuento de mis looks favoritos me ha hecho darme cuenta que definir mi estilo personal es algo que me ha hecho crecer muchísimo en el Gyaru. Me ha ayudado a encontrar mi lugar en la comunidad y la estética con la que más me siento identificada no solo al estar producida, sino que son mi pauta para vestirme en el día a día para siempre tener un cachito de este look & feel y sentir que sigo siendo yo.

Hace pocos meses cambié de trabajo y con ello llegó una nueva ronda de capacitaciones y reuniones que duraron varios días en los que puse particular atención en cómo me estaba vistiendo. Ya saben lo que dicen: La primera impresión es lo que cuenta. Y en mi caso, quería dicha impresión vaya de la mano con mi desenvolvimiento. Sin embargo, entre esas ganas de verme bien y elegir prendas que me encantan, al cuarto día me di cuenta que todos los días había estado con alguna prenda animal print, así que decidí seguir hasta ver cuántos looks podía lograr.

Aquí les comparto mis outfits favoritos para ir a trabajar y otros más que armé para salir durante el fin de semana que no llegué a usar porque no salí. Lol.

OMG, aún recuerdo el día en el que compré este enterizo. Fue amor a primera vista. Supe inmediatamente que debía ser mío en el preciso momento en el que me lo probé y me quedó exacto. Usualmente todo me queda grande, así que no podía dejarlo pasar. Para ser honesta, este enterizo lo usé el último día en mi anterior trabajo y fue la mejor decisión que me recuerden con un look así.

Esta faldita fue una de las primeras prendas brand que me compré ya hace algunos años y fue como abrir la caja de pandora porque ya no puedo parar. Lo que más me gusta es que tiene elástico en la cintura, así que es super cómoda y no queda grande. Además lo puedo combinar con casi cualquier cosa para tener looks más lindos o atrevidos.

Esta casaca es una de mi favoritas y aún recuerdo cómo la compré. Salí de trabajar, me moría de frío porque había olvidado llevar un abrigo conmigo y decidí ir al mall más cercano y comprarme un sweater barato. Terminé comprando esta casaca y mil cosas más, ¡pero no me arrepiento de nada! Además con el beret queda super lindo. Lo genial de este tipo de prints es que puedes usar cualquier cosa neutral, pero si te pones esto encima, hace que todo el look se vea mil veces mejor.

Este es unos de los looks que no pude usar y que tengo en mente usarlo desde hace bastante tiempo, pero no he tenido la oportunidad. Durante mi semana de capacitaciones aún estábamos en otoño, así que habían días en los que salía el sol y otros en los que hacía mucho frío. Más aún porque estamos cerca a la playa. Sin embargo, este look era perfecto porque podía estar abrigada, pero fresca al mismo tiempo. Y sobre todo con el cuellito abrigado a prueba del aire acondicionado.

zapatos & accesorios: aliexpres Padre me regaló este abrigo por mi cumpleaños hace no mucho y fue uno de mis sueños hechos realidad. Me encanta este tipo de prendas porque lo puedes usar para levantar un look más deportivo o lo puedes usar con chompas grandes como esta al estilo de Delyle Noir en sus buenos tiempos en los que Sakurina era su modelo.

Para trabajar, prefiero que se vea más casual. Lo usaría incluso son zapatillas blancas o negras, pero si tengo que convertirlo en un look de after office, entonces lo puedo cambiar por tacos y agregar joyería.

Y finalmente para cerrar la semana, un look que usaría totalmente en una fiesta. Las fiestas a las que me encanta ir son con drag queens, así que son una buena oportunidad para producirme ir extra sexy. Mis looks favoritos para estos eventos son los “fancy bitch”, como los llamo, y son de lejos mis favoritos.

¿Cuál de todos ha sido su outfit favorito? Yo definitivamente no puedo decidirme y en 7 días no me alcanzó para combinar todas las prendas animal print que tengo. Pero pueden encontrar algunas otras opciones Agejo, o incluso Gyaru kei en mi IG y me muero por conseguir más.
